best fucking friends forever

Wednesday, I took a day off from work. Because I haven't taken off any days all summer. Me and Jeremy went to see The Dark Knight in IMAX. Besides us having to move a few times, (due to annoying kids and bad seating...) it was pretty freakin awesome. After that we tried to find Kingdom with GPS but TomToms suck. We found it finally, and had a delicious meal. Brian and Kyle were home at the 707, so we dropped by for a visit, picked up dennis's bike, went to Dollar Tree parking lot & Hung out with Dennis corey and mark, and then went home.

Thurdsay morning was SIX FLAGS DAYYY
Me, Marc, Jeremy and Dennis all went. Marc got hit on by an older woman at Wawa. Me and Jeremy had free tickets, so we were able to go right past the ticket booths, but had to wait for Marc and Dennis. It was busy and hot, about an hour wait for each roller coaster. But we went on all the good ones. (except for Kingda Ka maybe, and the new Dark Knight ride) I've only ever been on Nitro and Batman...so it was a fun day. El toro was insane. We went home and camped outside until it rained. I woke up at various times during the night and the dawn looked so pretty.

HAVING SO MUCH FUN IN LINE!!!!!!!!!11

On friday we all woke up, and then went our seperate ways. I hung around doing nothing until jeremy was finished mowing the lawn. We took his mattress and desk to New Brunswick and put it in his new room. Then we went to Time to Eat and ran into Mollie and Bryan. Went home...and that's pretty much it.

Saturday I helped my family clean the house. Then I watched some Weeds. Went to Jeremy's house to help pack, didn't get very far. Went out to flemington to look for comforters...no luck. Had dinner at Panera. Drove to bridgewater to Bed Bath and Beyond...still no luck. I got some stuff at old navy and ran into Jon K. Then we went to Target, and amazingly they had comforters for Jeremy's taste that weren't way too expensive. (because all the stuff there is way too girly. i suggested Dark Knight sheets.) Then we shopped around target and got things we needed. Went home and watched The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou. My parents watched for some of it and thought it was a very odd movie.

I don't have work tomorrow and I'm pretty happy about that. It's been a 6 day weekend! Summer is almost over...but I didn't take the time I had off for granted, even though it wasn't as exciting as last summer.

Tonight. I've got this city on my side.

well! It's been quite a week. probably one of the best weeks of summer.

Monday I went to Philly with Dennis. Everyone was at the 707 and we were all ready to get some Kingdom. We rode our bikes to Logan Circle and took an epic picture, then rode to Kingdom. Buffet! there were at least 20-25 of us in there. After we were done, we rode to Logan Circle again and went swimming. It was kind of cold, but not that bad. Went back to 707 and dried off and hung out with Elvis and stuff. Slept on the roof.

On Tuesday we woke up to the blazing sun. Went to mugshots to make things better. Dennis brought me back to his house, and I went to work.
After work, Jeremy came over & he took me out to dinner for our one year. We went to Origin Thai in somerville. It was very good. After that i saw my manager Jeff at Curmudgeon Records since he owns/works there. Introduced him to Jeremy and then we went home.

Wednesday I worked and then went home & ate pizza and watched Newsies. And Stella. that was basically it.

Thursday I woke up and Dennis, Lindsay, and Cayce showed up at my house. We waited for Dennis to sew things & headed off. Our first stop was Rockafella's Bar(?) / whorehouse brothel place. Shut down due to prostitution. It was pretty cool. I didn't get the best pictures because I dont know how to use my flash very well. We went to the bridge and took pictures, (many group pictures that day)...and then drove lindsay home for work. Picked up mark, and then parked near the YMCA. Hiked like a mile into the woods to some abandoned boy scout camp. Shot a lot of arrows with bows. (well, i tried my best.) tried to break in to some other buildings...no luck. the hike home was downhill so that was good. I went home and watched There's Something About Mary, went back to Cayce's house, then hung out at bucks, then went to Applebees with dennis and met marcos & his bitches there.

I went to Dennis's house, and then we got Corey and drove to Philly. We found the Barbary after many u-turns. Saw Defiance, Ohio for the first time. They are flawless. After the show we waited and decided if we would go to the second. Decided not to, and went to Kingdom instead. Had delicious food. Then went to Ryan & Erica's apartment for the housewarming party. Not a lot of people were there yet because the Second D,Oh show wasn't over yet. After chilling awhile, we all went to Logan Circle. I didn't swim, but I helped take some pictures of swimming and fireblowing. We went back to the apartment and it was much more fun then. We played Scrabble and I got Third with Erica. Then played Apples to Apples and i won a few times. We stayed up and talked and eventually people started passing out. Went outside with the people who were still awake, and then tried to find Dennis's car with Kriss & John for about 20 minutes. Finally found it, and it was about 6AM. Slept until about 9AM....

Saturday, Hung out with the remaining people at the house. Then went to Mugshots with Corey, Dennis and Cassie. Ate in a park. Dennis drove us home. I went to sleep when I got home for about 3 hours and was still very tired. Went to Cayce's party and had a nice last bash of the summer. I went home after i couldn't bear standing up anymore.

Sunday I dont think I did much but hang out with Jeremy and get paninis and go to barnes and noble and then finish Season 2 of heroes. I keep thinking about it. It's so good!

Monday I worked and then Marc, Dennis and Jeremy came over to swim. We all went to New Brunswick for a party at the waffle stompers' house and it was an all around good time.

Today I went to work and then Dennis, Corey, Lauren, Marc and Marcos came over. Talked on my front porch until it got too cold. They went to Pickel Park and I stayed here to edit pictures and write this long ass blog.

one year.

rebel rousers, the life long rockers and the dead end kids.

Yesterday was a weird day. Jeremy came over but I fell asleep for awhile. At some point in the day, my sister's friend crashed the quad and 2 people got hurt. I'm glad no one died. There were 2 cops, an ambulance, an EMT truck, and Department of public safety (or something) truck over here.
Dennis came over and he sewed some stuff. In the midst of that, we played dress up in the basement and found some weird outfits. There was no documentation of this. We also lit up some Black Snakes which are totally lame and make the ground look like it's pooping.

Dennis left and me and Jeremy went to see Tropic Thunder. It was alright, but it wasn't so bad. Robert Downey Jr. is great.

Today I made chocolate pancakes with Jeremy and watched Clue. Then we went to Waffle Stock. It was a bit different than last year, but fun. I'm glad it was light out so I could take pictures without being annoying with flash.

the long island sound.

today me and dennis went to Long Island. driving there is a bitch (and $14 dollars worth of tolls). but we got there. when we did, it was pouring. we went to a diner (nothing compared to NJ's diners) and it wasn't so bad. after that, we went to best buy because i wanted to find a radar detecter (since you can buy them in NY). I found one, but it was 60 bucks and "contained lead"....i didn't want to risk my chances of getting lead poisoning so I didn't get one. we played some Rock Band there and left.
we went to robs house for a bit, did much of nothing. after we left there we tried to find a coffee shop that was 20 minutes away, but it took us around an hour and a half to find it. Long island sucks that way. it was pouring again. the coffee house was sweet, and i got awesome tea and an awesome brownie, which was my dinner. we dropped rob off at home after that and went home. the ride home was rainy but it stopped and it was less stressful. no i'm home and dennis is asleep on my bed.

We’ve seen it all, bonfires of trust flash floods of pain

today I visited my (great) uncle in the hospital. he's 85, and has diabetes for at least 30 years. So he's not doing so well. but i got to hear him laugh, and that made me happy.
Hospitals make me nervous. but it was all okay.
Today is the 62nd anniversary of world war II ending. so his "war buddies" were there to celebrate (as they have been for the last 61 years, which is incredible...and incredible that they were all so lively)
and various other family members were there.

the past few nights have been nice. 7-11 last night, hanging out in turntable junction with marc.
clinton station diner the night before. i've never been at a diner for so many hours like that.

tomorrow i am going to long island! for the first time ever. me & dennis are going to visit rob. but rob doesnt know dennis is coming.

and i am coming home to you, if its the last thing that i do

the weather has been nice. not too hot, but a little bit chilly. and rain= rainbows. a beautiful one at that.

the sound card in my computer broke...again. but i think jeremy might help me build a new computer. either way, i have no sound. again.
but, my i got my hours back at work. kinda. i work 15 hours a week and not 12. it's significant.

hmmmmm

"It's like my thumb is my cock"

Bad ducks going "Quack, quack, quack, ooh. Blargh."

In the past week I have seen: Hancock, Pineapple Express (twice) and Step Brothers.
I've been to Time To Eat twice, got a free bagel, and the shitty waiter isn't so shitty.
I went to New Hope for the first time, and had dinner in Lambertville.
So there we go. It has kind of been an eventful week.
My family comes home from Canada today...kind got used to everyone being gone.
Oh well.
I'm not pumped on life. I don't think I will ever be. Sorry.
I know that I have already lost, and will lose people. But I don't care, I've accepted that. My lethargy has turned into understanding, even though I still don't understand the least bit of anything.

my life

Canada.

I think I've been there 6 times. This is the first time I didn't go there while everyone else was going. (The trip has skipped a few years in the past) My entire family is up there right now, excluding my Mom and my dog. I didn't go this year because I didn't want to miss out on anything at home. I don't really think I would have missed out. But I don't think I could have lasted up there, either. There are A LOT of people this year. And the fact that my cousins are "older" now, and there is always lots of drinking going on. Plus, I don't eat meat/fish or feel comfortable with fishing. I'm not really sure how I feel. But its tearing me apart because its one of my favorite places ever. I miss the smell, the sand, the water. Its just a nice laske in the middle of nowhere where I can forget about everything.
Cayce is the only one who probably can picture/imagine what I am saying, since she was actually there. and I'm glad i could share it with someone else before it (is potentially?) over. I don't know if I'm ever going to go back.
So basically, it's been the source of my dreams for a good part of my life, and I miss it. I've had good times and bad times. The house is empty. I feel empty.
