the celebration of all things

summer has officially begun.
everyone's all graduated.
parties have started.
i hope to travel down the east coast and make it to the west coast.

yesterday, i got up really early to get my car. it's nice. nicer than anything i could imagine.
cayce had a party. it was fun. everyone was really tired for some reason. i was tired because i woke up early. we all hung out into the wee hours of the night. we celebrated dennis's day of birth, no longer a teenager. we all crammed into cayce's basement proving to be rather uncomfortable but it did the job. in the morning, they all watched national treasure 2 but i slept. i went home, and my power was out. i slept until 4:30 and went back out to hang out with dennis. we went to Clinton Station Diner with his parents. they were out of veggie burgers, what tha eff. after that we watched An Evening With Kevin Smith: Evening Harder Disc 2. Dennis's mom didn't like it. She did get [us] tickets to see Kevin Smith in the fall. I. Can't. Wait.
Now I'm home, ready to start a new week. I've got to finalize a work schedule, and then I'll be set.

summer has begun

I don't feel any different, because I was in summer mode all school year. I managed to keep A's in all my classes, but they were all easy classes.
Needless to say, everything is better now.
This year was full of many ups and downs. Many adventures. Many new friends, old friends.
Mostly everyone is off to college now. Kind of. Good luck, to everyone.
I've got another year left in this place. But I don't think I'll be "fully there" next year, either.
I can't say that I've quit Rita's, but I've taken myself off the schedule. And I ignore anyone asking me to cover for them. Sneakers Plus seems like it will be a good thing for me. (And no, not selling sneakers.) The design aspect of it is easy. I hope to learn a lot of new things.
Anyways, I hope that this summer is equal or better to last summer. Maybe not as many parties at Dennis's house, no "rotate," but..we gotta still play some pictionary.
and lots of tofu hot dogs.

this is probably one of my favorite pictures I've taken in a long time.
